Cardboard, particularly corrugated cardboard, was initially branded in 1871 by Albert Jackson of New York. Johnson used it for covering bottles and glass lantern chimneys. The corrugated package, as you may know it right now, was introduced by Robert Gair, who developed a device to make vast amounts of boxes. This creativity labeled the start of size creation and widespread usage of cardboard boxes.
